African Journals Online (AJOL) - AJOL offers the tables of content and abstracts from over 170 journals in sciences, social sciences, arts, culture and literature from 2000 to onward. Free print copies of articles are available by airmail.

American Chemical Society (ACS) - ACS is the leading publisher of peer-reviewed research journals in the chemical and related sciences, serving scientific communities worldwide through an unparalleled commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation. Fulltext access is available for all titles back to the start date of the publication, some back as far as the 1800s.

American Physical Society (APS) - APS is an authoritative source of physics information. It provides full text access to all APS material from 1893 to present.

Bentham Science Publisher - in chemistry and allied subjects 41 full text titles are available, many going back to 2000.

Cambridge Journals Online - Cambridge University Press’s collection of nearly 200 leading journals across the sciences, social sciences and humanities.

EBSCO HOST - offers the largest scholarly full text collections in the world covering virtually every area of academic study. EBSCO through PERI provides access to 7 online databases of journals. They can be searched individually, in selected groups or altogether. Over 11,000 journals are available as full text with over 4,000 of these being fully peer-reviewed.

Ebrary.....eContents Platform - ebrary offers an increasing selection of more than 20,000 e-Books in business, economics, computers, engineering and technology.

Emeraldinsight - provides full text of all 150+ Emerald online journals available, with full text back files, many going back to 1990's abstracts going back in some cases to 1980's.

Global Economic Monitor (GEM) - provides daily updates of global economic developments, with coverage of high income- as well as developing countries. Daily data is provided for exchange rates, equity markets, interest rates, stripped bond spreads, commodity prices and emerging market bond indices. Monthly data coverage is provided for consumer prices, high-tech market indicators, industrial production and merchandise trade, etc. Quarterly data is available for GDP, current account balances, and budget balances. All data sets are updated each weekday to capture the latest available observations.

IMF Balance of Payment Statistics - It summarizes for a specific period (typically a year or quarter), the economic transactions of an economy with the rest of the world and covers all the goods, services, factor income and current transfers an economy receives from or provides to the rest of the world.

IMF Direction of Trade Statistics - It contains data on the value of merchandise exports and imports between each country and all its trading partners. Total bilateral and multilateral exports and imports are aggregated at national or regional group level.

IMF International Financial Statistics - The IFS database contains approximately 32,000 time series covering more than 200 countries and areas and includes all series appearing on the IFS Country Pages.

Informaworld - Informaworld provides access to over 1100 peer-reviewed research journals published by Taylor & Francis, Rutledge, Psychology Press and Informa Healthcare in Sciences, Engineering and Humanities subject areas generally from 1997 to present.

JSTOR - is an online archive database with complete backfiles of over 700 core scholarly journals covering Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Language, Law, Religion, Philosophy, Anthropology, History, Geography, Biological Sciences, Political Sciences and Education.

LexisNexis - More than legal research, the LexisNexis® Total Research System provides you online access to state and federal case law; codes and statutes; court documents and extensive secondary materials such as treatises and law journal articles. It has over 3.5 billion public records; business news, legal news, and regional news; expert commentary on the law; Shepard's® Citations Service; and so much more.

Science Direct - is the world's leading electronic collection of scientific journals and provides access to the fulltext of last 5 years. The subject areas covered in this database are: Business Management and Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics.

SpringerLink - is one of the world's leading online information services for scientific, technical, and medical books and journals. Over 1100 fully peer reviewed journals are available with back files starting from different dates.

SpringerLink Lecture Notes in Computer Science(LNCS Book Series)- L ecture Notes in Computer Science is a medium for the publication of new research & developments in Computer Science, Information Technology and related areas. It holds over 50,000 papers from 1973 to present.

United Nations Common Database (UNCD) - is a well documented and content rich database designed to meet the multidisciplinary data needs by providing many paths to the data covering economics, social, financial and development related topics since 1951.

University of Chicago Press Journals- Over 50 scholarly journals of the world’s most prestigious societies are accessible. Its first scholarly publication was the Journal of Political Economy, introduced in 1892.

Wiley-Blackwell - provides full text access to over 800 leading learned journals in science, technology, medicine, humanities and social sciences, many going back to 1990's.

World Bank Global Development Finance (GDF Online) - contains statistical data for the 138 countries that report public and publicly-guaranteed debt to the World Bank Debtor Reporting System. The database covers external debt stocks and flows, major economic aggregates, and key debt ratios as well as average terms of new commitments, currency composition of long-term debt, debt restructuring, and scheduled debt service projections. Data selection screens are intuitive and easy to use. Results can be scaled, indexed against a particular year, viewed by percentage change, and charted. Data can also be exported in standard formats.

World Development Indicators - is World Bank's premier annual compilation of data about development. It is a collection of statistical data and commentary. It focuses on people, economy, environment, states and markets, and global links. The CD-ROM contains a database of more than 550 indicators selected from a time series database of 40 years and 208 countries, where data is available. It also contains full text of WDI book. The data can be exported in several formats.
